Shelby County History Festival
Hosted by Davies Manor Plantation

The Annual Shelby County History Festival, which is held each year to mark the opening of the tour season at Davies Manor.  This event is put together by the Shelby County History Society.   Learn about the different museums that are in Shelby County at Hillwood at Davies Manor. 

TNGS will have an information table there, performing free family look-ups.

All activities are FREE!

Hillwood Hall 
12:00-4:00pm - Displays from 20 local history organizations   
                              Food & Beverage concessions available
2:30pm - Living History performances from FACS 4th Grade History classes

Manor House
12:00-4:00pm - Open with Docent led tour (FREE)
                              Folk Art Exhibit

Grounds, 12:00-5:00pm 
Free Carriage Rides
Free 1922 Model T Rides
Quilt Display (Gotten Cabin, Liberty Cabin, Manor House)
Kids Games (Oak Tree)
Scavenger Hunt (Begins at Manor House)
Nature Hike (Arboretum Trail) 3:30pm
Vintage Car Show
Live Music on Gotten Cabin Porch (1:00-4:00pm)
