Family Tree Maker Discussion Group - Remote - Members Only

The focus of the Family Tree Maker Discussion Group is to help members take advantage of the many features and options of the software program.  Access will  be through GoTo Meeting Collaboration Tool.  Instructions and Connectivity Link will be forwarded via email to all registrants a couple days prior to the event.  Making the connection is quick and easy only requiring a computer and Internet connectivity from wherever you chose to  watch the event. Your questions help drive the meetings, and we will be there to help each other.  Since the older versions of the software no longer synchronize with ancestry.com, we only concentrate on the latest FTM2019 version.  We will try to help with technical concerns, such as upgrading the software and exporting files.  FTM discussions will be facilitated by PZ Horton.

For this session, we will continue to discuss the toolbars.  Last session was on the generic toolbar functions of File, Edit, View, Tools and Help. I also covered the workspace for Person. This time we will concentrate on the other workspaces in FTM; Places, Media,  Sources, Publish and WebSearch.  Whatever is not covered this session, will be in the next session.
